PAINTING STUDIES — USA

During my stay in the United States, I discovered a new passion for painting on canvas. It started as a way to experiment outside the digital realm, but it ended up becoming an important part of my way of understanding the image.

These studies have helped me a lot to develop my artistic vision: composition, use of color, contrast, visual balance and gaze direction. Painting forces me to make decisions more directly and consciously, and that later influences how I work on a 3D scene, an animation or a visual composition.

For me, this section represents a more manual and intuitive part of my creative process: observing, testing, making mistakes, correcting and building images with intention.
